FlyBlade, a recognized helicopter operator in India, is all set to connect North Goa’s MOPA Airport to Taj Exotica Hotel in the South. This is a positive development, as it will strengthen the connectivity and reduce travel time between the two places. As per the latest updates, there would be two flights each day between the hotel and the airport. These helicopters have the capacity to carry four passengers. The price tag for the transportation facility has been fixed at INR 6,000 per person. The flight operator has also stated that each passenger would be allowed to carry a maximum luggage of 7 Kgs. on the helicopter.
Between 11 am and 12 pm, the flight operator will operate the first return journey. The second return journey will take place between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. The helicopter services will be available 6 days each week. The company also expressed their intentions to expand the air transportation network to Fort Aguada in North Goa.
The new airport in North Goa comes with ample parking space. Besides, charter flights have landing slots in this airport, which gives it an edge over the old airport at Dabolim. The old airport is actually a naval base, which brings in certain restrictions related to flights. In this context, it should be mentioned that the flight operator is willing to provide personalized charter service for connecting places within Goa and its adjoining areas like Dhardwad and Hubli.
Last year, in December, the Prime Minister inaugurated the new airport in Goa. The opening of this new airport implies that the real estate industry in this area will get a boost. Currently, the MOPA airport is capable of handling around 4.4 million passengers each year. As new phases of the airport are opened up, this capacity will be expanded to 33 million. Therefore, investors willing to purchase a new property in North Goa should make their purchase now. You will benefit from the rising property value.
